Kaapkoffie is a sustainable coffee company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. They have established a unique approach to coffee production and transportation, prioritizing environmental sustainability and supporting woman-owned farms.
One of the key aspects of Kaapkoffie's operations is their commitment to using wind power for transportation. They utilize wind-powered vessels to sail the coffee from Colombia, where the coffee is sourced, to Amsterdam. This approach reduces the carbon footprint associated with transportation and promotes eco-friendly practices. In addition to their sustainable transportation methods, Kaapkoffie focuses on working closely with woman-owned farms in the coffee-producing regions of Colombia. By collaborating with these farms, they contribute to the empowerment of women in the coffee industry and promote gender equality in agriculture.
Addicted to KaapKoffie's wind-powered coffee, I became a co-owner, inspired by their values in sustainability. Embracing new territories, sharing their story and contributing to a greener world, one cup at a time.
